The S.T.O.P. proposal that I have introduced seeks to address the inequity of the property tax system by eliminating the property taxes on hometead properties. I would like to hear from you about the S.T.O.P. proposal.
 
 

Question 1: Do you support the elimination of local, county, and school district property taxes on primary residences by an amendment to the Constitution that would prohibit property taxes be levied on primary residences but continues to tax commercial and industrial properties?

Question 2: Currently regardless of what you earn, all individuals pay 3.07% in Personal Income Tax. Do you support an amendment to the Pennsylvania Constitution that would change the Personal Income Tax from a flat rate of 3.07% to a graduated scale that forces people who earn more to pay more? Those making less than $100,000 per year would see no increase.

Question 3: Do you support an increase in the current Pennsylvania Sales Tax by 1% to 7% statewide (8% in Allegheny and Philadelphia Counties) if it totally eliminates your property tax? Items that are currently not taxed such as food, clothing, and prescription drugs will remain not taxed.
